SUN BEACH MUSIC & CAMPING FESTIVAL – OCT 2010 LINEUP ANNOUNCED

The Firetree are excited to announce they will be performing at the 2010 Sun Beach Music & Camping Festival. We will be performing Saturday 2nd Oct as intimate duo show from 8:15pm and with full band on Sunday 3rd Oct. from 5:15pm.

The festival boasts an incredible lineup of musicians including Dan Parsons, The Boat People and Old Man River.

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL….

SUN BEACH FAMILY MUSIC AND CAMPING FESTIVAL This October long weekend the Sun Beach Family Music and Camping festival is the place to be !!  With over 12 live music acts including major headliners like the big sounds of  Old Man River and his band, The Boat People, Dan Parsons and the sensual up and coming Firetree Band. The festival site is set in the pristine eco acres of the Ballina Beach Village at South Ballina … you know your weekend starts when you take the little car ferry across the Richmond River … just a few minutes , $4 and already you’re in the vibe !

Treehouse On Fire – Sunday 25th July from 6pm

On Sunday The Firetree bring their sublime harmonies and sweet folk pop to Treehouse. The Firetree is Dale Buchan and Josie Cubis who have been writing and recording in the Bay with local producer Murray Burns. Separately the duo have had recognition with Dale winning the Busking Over Byron competition and earning a place to play Bluesfest and Josie selling out of her debut album and supporting Missy Higgins.

Together they are a beautiful force and it is becoming rare to catch them in intimate form as their recordings are garnering rotations on radio and their five piece band is in demand.
